i have called 4 times regarding you not taking my automatic payments. Happened on both my car and home policy. I even call on 3/18 the day the payment was due and told me it would be done. Now on the 22nd on i have been disconnected twice and told it was my fault. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Got hit by one of their policy holders

September 30, 2021 my family and I got rear ended by one of your policyholders (which was texting and driving) we were at a stop and the driver rear ended us at 55+mph. Sent us to the hospital.

We hit the other stopped vehicle is front of us from the force of the impact in the rear. Progressive has to be the most unprofessional insurance company have ever worked with. I've had the claim open for 111 days for property damage only and nothing has been resolved yet. Our vehicle is totaled.

The first 12 days of the claim being opened, the adjuster did not call or reply to any emails or phone calls. Come to find out he was on vacation for a week and the following week he didn't have a computer to do his work (It was broken) when asked why he didn't transfer his work to get the claim process rolling faster instead of waiting for him to come back from vacation and fix his computer he said the company does not work like that. So basically, customers have to be put on the back burner until they get their hardware fixed and come back from weeks of vacation. Throughout this whole process, I've had to contact this company to see where we are headed and what is the next step.

They have not been helpful at all. Same thing said every week from them ( we will give you an update at the start of the week. Haven't heard anything yet, we will give you an update by the end of the week). This has been going on for months.

My family and i are so over this bologna of a company. We are hiring an attorney to sue their client because we know this is the only way progressive will start operating in good faith. This action was recommend by my insurance company (which also stated it should not take 111 days for a coverage issue) I recommend everyone to stay away from progressive and if you have to deal with them just get an attorney because they will leave you out in the rain. If I could give this company negative stars, i would.

My family and I didn't cause this accident. Their policyholder did. They are treated us like criminals and not victims.

We were not the ones texting and driving. Their policy holder was.

Regarding state reimbursement

It is so sad that Progressive has 8000 customers that they owe reimbursement checks and is only sending out 50 checks per day. It would be great if the Governor made them pay all of us interest since they are taking their time sending us our reimbursement.

Lansing here also,no more than cash check and my insurance raised $119.from $350. in Nov/21 to $469.today 5/13.

30% and lost my roadside service.. I bet gas was $3.50 in Nov and gas today is close to $4.65

No good on their word. high premiums for young age drivers. will prolong honoring their payouts on insurer claims. recommend small mom-pops insurance compaines.

Insurance adjuster

I had my car parked in a shopping parking lot so I can get my blood drawn at quest lab and when I came out there was a big dent on front drivers side door the 2 ladies that was before us one was the driver and the other was a client there was a Big Bang even one of the receptionist heard it while we was in the back room while I was having my blood drawn when I went out to the parking lot there was the dent we called for a trooper and he came out seen footage from a camera and took about over a week and he contacted us about the party at fault and left the scene

We have been playing phone tag back and forth since 11-12-2021 since the incident with progressive and still are to the point that I am stressed to get this resolved and ready to get a lawyer to handle the case I have had enough with progressive and the adjuster progressive has all the information troopers name pictures by me and the troopers pictures and I also have the estimate done and sent to progressive

I am done being nice time for action now not words so thats when my lawyer comes in for a small matter that could have been resolved already and Ill make sure I got a really good lawyer for the case

Forced to pay $535

Progressive sent me a letter demanding i show where my vehicles are located. I do.

I have two homes and I am these homes equally. So both are FT residences.

Progressive proceeds to up my monthly bill. No notice received by me. They claim thats not the case and say they sent it.

I call in to handled the first sentence above.

During that call i cancelled my insurance. Magically, Progressive has no record of this. They claim to have a transcript and it does not reflect my cancellation.

I receive a bill for two months of coverage at the increased rate.

Contact customer service repeatedly. Get no place.

Speech I received was they show no record of my cancellation so the amount is due. Saying if I dont pay it goes to collections then on my credit report.

I pay 535 as i do not want to deal w credit issues or lawyers.

Customer service was awful.

Called me a liar in so many words. Magically as i said have records for anything that favors Progressive and admit no possibilty where the systems they use made an error or could have.

Premium increase without any reason

I am with "Progressive" insurance company a bit over two years. I have both my cars and home insured. I do not like this company because they increase premium for home and cars without any reason. The increase is significant and over the inflation rate. Simply rip off customers.

Very disappointed with service on claims

I was involved in an accident that was completely unavoidable and not my fault. A city bus driver rear ended my vehicle.

The incident was recorded on videotape and Metro immediately accepted responsibility. I submitted all info including the police report to Progressive and from the outset they spoke with me in an adversarial manner. They questioned everything I said. The adjuster I was assigned called me once at the beginning of the claim and told me he was based in another city and therefore some other adjuster would "probably" actually handle the claim.

I was contacted by someone else who never identified himself except to say he was with Progressive. He argued with me at every turn - and said he didn't believe "my story" about some of the damage to the vehicle - even though he could have accessed a video about it. In the long run, my car was repaired, not including the excluded items. The claim was subrogated, and Progressive received payment from Metro.

Someone from Metro contacted me and verified what they would be paying which included my deductible and some out of pocket costs. However, Progressive only reimbursed my deductible. When I tried to call about the other costs that should have been reimbursed, I was constantly forwarded to the original claims adjuster's phone number which went to voicemail where I was told his box was full and not receiving messages. He wouldn't have returned the call anyway, because he had not responded to my previous 3 messages to his voicemail.

I tried other contact methods, such as chat and the main 1-800 number - and they all send you back to that same claims advisor.

This morning by doing all I could think of to circumvent their automated systems, I finally was able to speak to a real human who offered to look into my question and get back to me at some point. No one should have this much trouble with a claim that was this straightforward.Ge
