Where I live is family owned and any family that is homeless can stay here until they get back on their feet!! That's the way my dad wanted it to be when he passed away!! Family takes care of each other!!

When I signed up for Progressives driving app, I received a discount on my 6-month policy for agreeing to use it. I had no way of knowing how bad this app was.

It immediately started to ding me with handheld phone use. Only problem was, I never used the phone. I do use Android Auto and when it automatically connects to my Infotainment center, it dings me or counts as phone use. I called Progressive's snapshot customer service line, and they indeed verified that does happen.

I also use Pandora and I decide to uninstall Pandora. Not much difference, so I assume it dinged me when I played Serious XM as well. This device has no right to make me change my listening preferences to make them happy.
I gave Progressive Snapshot customer service another call, and they agreed to delete one trip that had me on the phone for 50% of the time. She also said she would not upcharge me if I opt out of the program on the 6-month policy period.

Of course, they dinged me $68.00 immediately. Below is their subject copied off the Progressive website, in regard to phone use:
"Distracted DrivingThe amount of time of handheld phone use while driving. This applies to customers who participate in Snapshot using the Snapshot mobile app on phones with sufficient technology."
I feel these issues should be explained in advance, as I would have never signed up for this.

I am now forced to seek out another insurance company, as I will lose more money on my bundled homeowners' policy, making them higher than other offers. Lastly, I have read reviews on their under-dash plug in device and some reviews say people have had auto problems caused by installing the plug-in device.

Got an email yesterday that they canceled my auto policy. Called and they told me it was because I did not return a call last week from underwriting. I was in the hospital after open heart surgery.

Insurance co is no help

My truck still sits and has been almost 2 weeks. Unacceptable I mean there has been very little communication between me and kayla Gloss. Its like hmmm why am I paying all this money every month. I need my vehicle back and I need someone to actually give a *** I have had to tow it myself today just so I can get the mechanical stuff fixed so I can at least drive it poor progressive what a joke

Unexpected Cancelation

Last month I switched my insurance from Farmers to Progressive to save a few bucks. I bundled my car and homeowners.

A few weeks ago (9/27/22) I get a notice left on my front door that Millennium Information Services had been contracted to inspect my home by Progressive Homesite. Tonight (10/24/22) I received a call from Progressive and was told that my home needed a new roof, its about 5 years old and is a 20-year roof.

That there are some tree limbs that need to be removed, and other vegetation that needs to be addressed by November 13, or my homeowner's insurance is canceled. If an inspection was needed why wasn't I told upfront?

It isn't just Progressive, but it IS Progressive for me! Basing people's vehicle insurance on a credit report is a *** way of scamming folks. My driving record is pristine and no claims EVER but a rough financial patch 3 years ago raises my rate. SHAME ON REGULATORS FOR ALLOWING THIS

I received a notice of cancellation or increase unless I contacted the Underwriting Team prior to a certain date. I called the number provided multiple times. I waited on hold several times, up to an hour. Not only that, but I called them as soon as they opened and randomly throughout the day. I had other agents try and reach them as well, also unsuccessful. I have given up. I will simply cancel my multiple policies and switch insurance companies.

Preferred solution: Either a personal call from the underwriting team, or a guaranteed way to contact them with no hold time.

I made the huge mistake of changing to progressive. Terrible, terrible customer service. I would like to talk to human. But the only humans want to sell me insurance. Questionable increase in premium

I had been a customer with Progressive for about 20 years. I had no tickets and one claim in 2007 or 2008, when I was hit by another motorist.

My premiums increased from $79 in 2021 to $90 in the first half of 2022. I was told that the rates were just increasing, nothing to do with my driving record. Then I received the monthly notice that my premium was now $130 a month starting 8/31/22 for the next 6 months. I had not received this increase in the mail, but did go back and check my e-documents and there it was.

I accept responsibility for not checking the e-document, but I had always received information by regular mail.

Having said all that, it still does not explain the increase in my premium. My age (75) is the only explanation that I can think of.

The agency that I had my policy through was Duckworth Ins Agency.

They charge fees for random things. They increase your price from the quote screen to the screen where you pay online. If you call Customer Support, their automated phone system is infuriating and will hang up on you frequently. If you do get a Customer Service Representative, the customer service is poor. The website is not intuitive. If you do things out of the order they want you to do it in to make changes to your policy, you will incur additional fees. If you make a partial payment, they will refund it, then send you a new bill with late fees added.

Put a claim in for Honda Accord which they listed the other car instead of the car that was damaged. You send an email and get no response!! Wasting time as they told me where to get an estimate and they also called Progressive to tell them it was the wrong vehicle. They still have not replied. Terrible customer service!!
