Progressive Insurance DENIED MY CLAIM
I SUBMITTED A CLAIM TO PROGRESSIVE FOR MY FLOOD DAMAGED VEHICLE. I WENT THROUGH STANDING WATER ON A FLOOED STREET.
THEN MY ENGINE STARTED EXCESSIVELY SMOKING. THE SMOKE WAS SO BAD I COULDN'T SEE THE ROAD. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO MY MECHANIC AND HE SAID THE WATER CAUSED THE DAMAGED. I FILED A CLAIM AND THE ADJUSTER WENT TO LOOK AT MY CAR.
HE SAID HE COULD NOT SEE ANY WATER DAMAGE. HE INSINUATED I WASN'T TELLING THE TRUTH AND THAT I JUST NEED TO SPEND $8000 OF REPAIRS. THE ADJUSTER IS NOT A MECHANIC BUT DIDN'T WANT TO PAY MY CLAIM.
HE HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I ASKED HIM IF HE TALKED TO MY MECHANIC. I CALLED HIS SUPERVISOR AND MIKE SAID (WE ARE NOT PAYING YOUR CLAIM AND THAT I SHOULD SHOP AROUND FOR A NEW INSURANCE COMPANY) I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $2000.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Progressive Insurance Cons: Demeaning, Belittling, Lied to, Deceit unfair practices immoral conduct, Unwilling to compromise and blamed me.
